Everyman is an appeal run by The Institute of Cancer Research (ICR). Every year some 10,000 men lose their lives to prostate cancer and over 2,000 others have their world turned upside down by a diagnosis of testicular cancer. These men are the reason we are fundraising for male specific cancers.

Story

*STOP STOP PRESS!!* Ok so to catch up on results:

Both John and Paul completed the KYEOTB 10k in PBs of 43.41 and 45.58 respectively.John also completed the GY Half Marathon in 1h44m15s. We will be adding more events shortly so keep an eye on this page.

*STOP PRESS!!!*We are also entering the Great Yarmouth Half Marathon on August 14th 2011*STOP PRESS!!!*

For 2011, Team Botch are launching a two pronged fundraising campaign for Everyman, the UK's leading prostate and testicular cancer campaign.

Firstly we shall be taking part in the KYEOTB 10k run in Sheffield on July 17th. We will be attempting this run dressed as superheroes... a theme that will reappear in the second part of our campaign.

Secondly, once again, we will be undertaking the massive challenge of the Scally Rally of Ireland 2011. Again dressed (for every single minute) as superheroes, we will be meeting the challenge of over a thousand miles along the back roads of Ireland in 4 days in a car costing less than £100.

In addition to these two events we will be taking every opportunity to raise funds for the Everyman campaign during the year and hope that you will all support us on our quest.

About Everyman

Everyman's mission is to stamp out testicular and prostate cancer. We can achieve this by making everyone recognise the tell-tale signs, and understand the importance of treating them. By increasing this awareness we also hope to raise money to fund our life-saving research.

Thanks for taking the time to visit JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
