Starting on Monday 11th August I will be cycling from Chester to Richborough Castle in Kent as part of Optoms Cycling 4 Sight 2014. This is generally the route of the Watling Street Roman Road, a distance of around 315 miles, and links with my practice, Bowden & Lowe,  which is at 117 Watling Street, Gillingham, Kent.

I will again be taking to the canal towpaths, this time the Shropshire Union Canal and the Grand Union Canal before taking to the roads for the last 90 miles from Limehouse basin in London, past my practice, to Richborough Castle, near Sandwich, in Kent.

Last year with your generous donations teambowden raised an astounding £2500 and the whole event raised almost £20,000. It would be absolutely wonderful if we can beat this amount in 2014 and hopefully with your generous support we can.
