Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit Team Clewer's JustGiving page.

The MAC 4x4 Challenge (2nd-4th March 2012) is in its eleventh year having raised £750,000 to date for vital treatment and care of cancer sufferers. It consists of a three day 4x4 endurance and navigational event of up to 1000 miles. It usually starts from Craven Arms and can end up anywhere in the UK.

This is the first year for Team Clewer and we are doing it in memory of Nic's dad Colin Clewer who died in March 2011 and loved all things automotive which is why we have chosen the MAC 4x4 event. He had Multiple Myeloma which is a cancer of the plasma cells in the bone marrow. Colin lost his battle after four years of treatment and care.

Please support the great work that Macmillan does providing support to cancer patients and their families helping them deal with their every day lives.
