I have been supporting the Donna Louise Children's Hospice for some years now and this year I decided to do something big.
The Donna Louise Children's Hospice is a wonderful place that runs a comprehensive children's hospice service within Staffordshire & South Cheshire for the core purpose of providing respite and end of life care for children with life threatening conditions. To find out more please visit www.donnalouisetrust.org.
As part of Children's Hospice Week in May 2010 I will be climbing to try and raise as much money as possible for this fantastic charity.
I knew I couldn't do this alone so thought I would rope in a few friends and form a team. To find out who will be joining Team Hancock, you can visit www.kili4kids.org If climbing ’s highest peak is not enough of a challenge, I will be going head to head with another team to see who can raise the most money. I am pleased (and a little bit nervous!) that my opposing team captain is none other than Tony Pulis, manager of the best team in the world Stoke City FC.
Both Tony and I hold The Donna Louise Children's Hospice close to our hearts and we want to make sure we raise as much money as possible. So we are asking you to help us to do this by donating as much as you can whether this is £2 or £2,000 it will all help us to reach our target and to help so many children throughout Staffordshire & South Cheshire.
Please click donate now and show your support.
Thanks
Nick
