Irish Challenge 2010 · 29 September 2010

For 25 years, we have organised cycle events, mainly in Europe. We have raised a huge £4,378,361 mainly for cancer, heart and other medical research. We pride ourselves that EVERY PENNY that has been raised has been paid to charity - our participants paying the full fees for event entry themselves.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Team Cycle-Ops are  riding over 500 miles in three days on a relay format from Blarney Castle in the south west of Ireland to Dublin raising money for charity.

We leave Swansea for Cork by overnight ferry on 29th September 2010, and after kissing the Blarney stone we head west to the Atlantic coast over the 'Ring of Kerry to Kilarney. Heading west and north up the coast over the Cliffs of Moher to Galway. Our final day sees us cross back, south of Lough Derg to Dublin, and returning home to Holyhead.

All teams are made up of dedicated people rising to a physical challenge and raising money for good causes.

Challenge Adventure Charities enables us to raise money in the secure knowlege that all raised cash goes to the nominated causes. This year we are raising money for Cancer Research and British Heart Foundation, with our own nominated charity being Julia's House Childrens Hospice.

All costs of entry are met by us, all raised funds go to the stated charities.
