Story
I'm running the Brooks Brighton 10K on November 17th to help raise money for my lovely friend and sub-editor colleague Emma Haines, her hubby Rik and their gorgeous son Ted.
Just over a year ago, Ted suffered a brain injury at birth, resulting in being diagnosed with spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy and poor brain growth. Although Emma and Rik face many challenges in the years ahead, they have dealt with this situation with enormous courage and optimism. They have already been working their arses off raising money for an organisation called Tree of Hope, which offers specialist treatment and therapy for children like Ted.
You can read more about Ted here...

And see how much Emma and Rik have achieved with their own fundraising here...

So please do give whatever you can to Tree of Hope, which will directly help Ted and lots of other children like him.
Thank you very much,
Lindsey
