Hi I’m Terri,

On the 5th October 2013 I will be taking part in a trek across the Sahara Desert on behalf of the Prince’s Trust and the Fairbridge programme. I am lucky enough to have been picked to take part out of the 300 that applied.

I will be baking as I spend my days without shower and toilet facilities in 30-40 degree heat, FML!

There will be sun, sand and well just camels really. So please sponsor me to not wash for a week. Oh and the 100km/63 mile walk in the most ugliest looking shoes I have ever seen.

Fairbridge run a range of training programmes, provide mentoring support and offer financial grants to build the confidence and motivation of disadvantaged young people. 

I feel it is important to note that the money raised will in no way fund my trip, which I am paying for entirely from my own pocket. All I ask is that you help me reach my goal, and I promise to share some photos upon my return in whatever state I come back in.
