Thanks visiting my JustGiving page.

BROTHERS who had the ability to walk restored after years on crutches are planning an epic feat in honour of the charity that gave them life changing surgery.

Brothers, Ben and Matthew Styles, were born with a rare degenerative hip disease that gradually stole their mobility.  By their mid teens they faced a life of pain on crutches, and expected wheelchairs by middle age.

Now, thanks to pioneering hip treatment carried out in Exeter, and research supported and funded by Joint Action and the British Orthopaedic Association the brothers are able to undergo rigorous training in preparation for a 1,007 mile fundraising cycle journey.   The Hip Trip will take  Ben (31) and Matthew (24) from  John O’Groats to Lands End via Northern and Southern Ireland.  They hope to raise around £7500 to help the British Orthopaedic Association research further life changing joint technology.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate.

Please dig deep and donate now, for more information about the trip please visit the Official Hip Trip Website.
