At the end of September the son of a close colleague of ours was diagnosed with a catastrophic genetic disorder, ALD. This means that this bright, “healthy” six year old will be blind by the Spring, quadriplegic within two years and will lose his life at a very young age.
Obviously in such a desperate situation there is nothing that can really be done to help, however we are determined to ensure that the family have the necessary funds to support them at this dreadful time.
Following on from Manchester Central's successful sponsored Bike Ride in November 2010, a team of Manchester Central staff have decided to participate in the BUPA Great Manchester Run on Sunday 15th May to further support Shay and his family.
This is a cause close to our hearts, please give as generously as possible.
