My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit the 'Ribat House' JustGiving page. We intend to organise a walk to the peak of Snowdon (1085m) on Sunday 6 May 2012 in aid of the The Ribat Institute's 'Ribat House' appeal. Our intention is to purchase a property in Woking, Surrey as a multi-use property from which we can run education and community projects, such as adult and children's classes, a counselling service, research and training, as well as generate an income for further projects. The building will open up opportunities for multiple uses by the Institute and as a facility for other groups and organisations to hire. We also plan to run a children’s nursery and a gymnasium on-site. The nursery will offer parents and carers the opportunity to give their children the best possible start in life by offering an approach which, we hope, will nurture good manners and praiseworthy characteristics from an early age. The gymnasium will be fully accessible to various age groups, with gender-specific sessions encouraging all members of the community to participate. Please support this fundraiser and donate to contribute to our vision of developing faith based communities. Donations can be made online or text.
