Everyman Campaign C2C Charity Challenge Cycle ride UK

Three Tremco illbruck employees Stuart Peet, Glen Horrocks and Simon Quinn of Tremco illbruck UK are completing the C2C cycle challenge in June 2011 (www.c2c-guide.co.uk). This is a cycle route from the west coast to east coast of England, from Whitehaven to Sunderland, covering 150 miles (240km) from sea level to an altitude over 2000 feet (600 Meters) over three arduous days.

The challenge is in aid of the Everyman Campaign (http://everyman-campaign.org/) a charity that supports men’s health issues, namely Prostate and Testicular cancer. By coincidence this charity has organised a ‘Turn it Blue’ day on 17 June 2011, the day the team starts the cycle challenge so will be wearing blue on day 1. The team has also set up a web site via http://www.justgiving.com/TiC2CChallenge where donations can be made electronically.

All members of the team have had family members or friends affected by the cancers under research by Everyman-campaign. Testicular cancer is the largest single cancer that can affect men of all ages. As an example - Prostate cancer kills one man every hour in the UK.

The team has already received great support from Tremco illbruck in the UK, but we are asking for support from friends, colleagues, suppliers and customers. The team has set themselves a healthy target of £2000.00 for the charity so every contribution whatever the size would be appreciated in support of a great cause.

Thanking you in advance for your support

Regards,

Team - Ti C2C Challenge
