St Barnabas Hospice is the leading charity in Lincolnshire providing palliative and end-of-life care to adults living with a life-limiting or terminal illness. Our vision is a world where dying with dignity, compassion and having choices is a fundamental part of a life.

Story

Thank you for visiting my page...

Sadly, my mum lost her battle with secondary cancer on 13th April this year. I had already signed up to do this run earlier in the year and my mum was hoping to visit London to support me on race day.

Those of you who know me will also know that back in 2008 I completed the BUPA 10,000 in memory of a friend and his sister who both sadly passed away earlier in 2008. I shortly followed this by this by completing the London Marathon. In total I have raised about £1500 for Macmillan.

This year I will be raising money for St Barnabas Hospice Trust in Lincolnshire.

St Barnabas Hospice services seek to provide and to support the provision of palliative rehabilitation, symptom management, and end of life care to people suffering from a life-limiting illness, irrespective of the diagnosis or location, and respite for their carers.
