Cancer will have an impact on us all at some time during our lives. Having lost my mum to cancer in November 2010 I decided its time to get off my backside and do something to raise much needed funds to help further research.

A group of 40+ Sulzer Pumps work colleagues, suppliers and friends walked the 23 miles from Scarborough to Whitby on Saturday 26th March and enjoyed a few beers along the way.

Everyone completed the walk despite several suffering badly with blisters. A fantastic day for a very worthy cause - thanks to everyone who took part or anyone who has supported us with a donation - it very much appreciated.

All money raised will go directly to Yorkshire Cancer Research who spend every penny on beating Cancer in our region.
