Story
I took up running last year in a bid to get fit and quickly developed a love for running off road and with my second ever marathon coming up in a few months I have decided to raise some money whilst running this one.
I ran my first marathon on October 7th 2012, the Clarendon Marathon which I will be running again this year, and whilst lined up on the start line of that, I was chatting to another runner who had a fair few marathons under his belt who explained that if I finish then I'll either be addicted or I'll never run again. Several hours later, I was addicted.
SInce then I have kept up running and on June the 22nd 2013 I'll be lining up for the start of the second ever Trail Marathon of Wales in Coed y Brenin forrest. I don't anticipate this being an easy endeavour at all and by all accounts the route is tough but rewarding with a lot of hills involved.
This time I want to raise as much money as I can for Ty Hafan. Ty Hafan is a Welsh charity that provides support to life limited children, young people and their families. Its a great charity providing a range or support services to people in situations that most of us cannot even imagine. From supporting the family of the child, offering a wide range of therapies and counselling services, Ty Hafan are there for the entire family involved.
Even if you can only donate a few pounds, believe me, it will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Tim
