My story
Hi
Thanks for sponsoring me in the 2012 Argus cycle race. It was a very hot day on the 11th March - temperatures over 32 degrees most of the way - and many of the refreshment stations ran out of water. But there was a cool breeze from the sea which made it bearable. Neverthless, many people succumbed ot the heat and were taken off in ambulances.
I managed to finish in just over 6 hours, one hour short of cut-off. Thanks so much for your sponsorship, which kept me going. The funds will be used for our Container project. With these containers we provide kitchens, classrooms and toilets for small children in Africa. See the Youtube on this page for more info.
