My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my page.
Top of my “things I must do before my body packs up” list has always been to run the London Marathon. This year, thanks to my good friend Steve Nichols, I have had the great fortune to be given a place by the Rossendale Trust. Steve’s brother Rick lives in Rossendale’s Supported Living accommodation which provides an environment designed to encourage Rick to reach his full potential. As well as achieving a sense of independence, Rick also benefits from a stimulating programme of activities provided by Rossendale’s day care facility. Rick is a great character with a wicked sense of humour who clearly thrives on the love and support given by his family and his life at Rossendale.

Rossendale Trust
Charity Registration No. 504427
The Rossendale Trust has apartments and homes in Cheshire and Derbyshire in which we provide supported living for adults with learning disabilities. We also run 'Oakwood' - a day activities programme for us and the wider community. Activities include Media, Music, Leisure, Horticulture and more!
