Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Last year many of you donated generously when I grew a ridiculous moustache during Movember to raise money for Prostate Cancer (see picture!!). The Mo was a bit of a joke, so this year its far more serious - a 1000 mile (1600 km) bicycle ride from Land's End to John O'Groats!!

Certainly no laughing matter and an Achilles tendon injury for the last 2 months makes it much harder, so PLEASE, dig deep and give me that extra motivation to complete this epic task.

This is a picture of my son Kayan on Saturday celebrating his 3rd birthday. He was lucky and had lots of gifts and people spoil him all day. Not every child is so fortunate. Some grow up in the most horrendous conditions imaginable. Give a penny, a pound, whatever you can. If we can save even ONE child from war and violence it will be worth it.

Am starting ride on Sunday 2nd August and it will take me 13 days. Will be checking donations every day along my journey so believe me, you CAN make a difference because I will only accept the donation if I COMPLETE my journey.
