My story
Hey hey to you all
This year on Sunday April 17th, I had a great opportunity to run in the London Marathon and raise money for the YMCA England and YMCA Norfolk.
A HUGE THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR SPONSORS AND SUPPORT.
To run 26.2 miles was a big challenge, but so worth it knowing that it was for a great cause which i 100% believe in.
I have worked for the YMCA for a few years in local high schools, and am constantly seeing what an incredible job the YMCA do in helping young people from all backgrounds, challenges and lifestyles, helping them back on track and helping them to reach their full potential.
I currently work for the YMCA Norfolk (Norwich), in a local High School Academy, alongside students supporting teenages who face tough challenges and issues that so many of us can sometimes be unaware of.
This was such a great opportunity for me to raise money for a charity, both YMCA England and YMCA Norfolk who are doing an amazing job, reaching out beyond themselves and always going the extra mile for others.
If you still wasnt to sponsor me it would be appreciated so much by myself and everyone who works for or is helped by the YMCA. Even if its just £1, every pound really does make a difference.
