Story
As many of you know, over the last six months I've lost 25kg of weight and started to get fit. There are many reasons behind this change of lifestyle, but one is a commitment I gave a few years ago to run a 10km race to raise money for the Gregor Mackay Fund. Gregor was a friend of mine who died, aged 36, very suddenly from T/NK cell lymphoma, a very rare form of cancer.
On August 13th I will finally fulfil my commitment, running the 'Resolution 10k' in London's Finsbury Park with a target time of 50 minutes.
I would therefore like to ask if you would kindly consider supporting me by making a small donation to Gregor's Fund, which is supporting research into T/NK cell lymphoma. Feel free to do so either after the event (I'll send round a note to let you know how I get on) or in advance (to spur me on!)
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
