Story

Five chaps from Timsbury (Mark Leakey, James Hall, Andy Garland, Dave Evans & Dean Taylor) are becoming commandos for a charity weekend. On Saturday 15th May they are competing in the Royal Marines 17km Endurance Challenge. This is the final test to become a Royal Marine and consists of a cross country nightmare of rivers, tunnels and mud.

If that was not enough, four of the Timsbury Commandos (Mark, James, Andy and Dave) are then jumping out of a plane at 13,000 feet and will experience a minute of free fall. The chaps are paying for their own jumps, so all the money raised will go to charity.

Blimey, all of this is to raise money for a great cause. Please give generously to the Rainbow Centre, which supports families affected by cancer and terminal illness.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
