Raising funds for Prostate Cymru, Autism and Riding for the Disabled
Every year I like to raise money for various charities - Ive hosted events, played at events, organised events, gone 't-total' for a month (Not an easy task as a DJ!) run cross country and even ten pin bowled for some great causes but never cycled for charity - so when I heard about this bonkers challenge, I thought to myself 'Why not?'
Its no easy task, lots of training is required and I must thank my amazing fiancee Caroline for putting up with this crazy challenge Im embarking on. Our gorgeous daughter Evie is my beautiful mascot and will be cheering me on along the 6 day challenge from Pembs2Paris this September.
Mikes Bikes are my main sponsor and I thank them for kitting me out, the bike fitting was a great experience - I had no idea how much equipment was actually needed, so I salute them greatly! So I have the gear, some may say no idea but Im going to give this 540 miles challenge a dam good go!
Listen in to regular weekly updates on 'Pembs2Paris' every Thursday afternoon on 102.5FM Radio Pembrokeshire, 97.1FM Radio Carmarthenshire & 97.5FM ScarletFM and Radio Ceredigion between 3-4pm.
