Just managed a 70 mile bike ride on Saturday morning from Bath to Swanage. The first 55 miles were fine but then my legs hit a bit of a wall and I had to lie down for a few minutes!! Cruised into Swanage feeling good though so I should be ok for the 70.3 - crossfit is helping keep me strong and yoga flexible!!

The Bath Half is ticked off - at 1:45 I wasn't too unhappy as it's been my first distance run for over a year.

 

I've just been for a hot run in Perth's King's Park - beautiful view and a very pleasant 30degC - back to the UK on Saturday morning. I'm getting used to my Barefoot shoes and I managed about a 6 miler.

Running along the west coast of Australia!!

It's been a while since I've done a big event (5 years) and I thought this time I should raise some money for charity - £1200 to be exact. I'm using JustGiving to make the whole money collecting / giving thing much easier (for both of us)!!
