My story

ran the 2012 London Marathon to raise money for the Anaphylaxis Campaign in 3 hours 45 minutes - a bit of a struggle at the end but the crowds gave fantastic support. Thanks for all the donations so far but if any of you have not donated and would like to don't worry there is still time.

The Campaign provides support and information to the growing number of people at risk from life-threatening allergic reactions (anaphylaxis), particularly to foods, including peanut allergy. My son Sam (pictured) is allergic to peanuts and has an epipen with him at all times in case of anaphylaxis. The money raised for the Anaphylaxis Campaign will help provide necessary education, advice and research to achieve a safer world for children like Sam. Any donation no matter how small will be greatly appreciated.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and secure. Your details are safe – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted mail. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to The Anaphylaxis Campaign and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Many thanks for your support.

Tom Armstrong
