Thanks for taking the time and courtesy to visit my Just Giving page on raising money for breast cancer, my reason for my choice of charity is because my Grandmother is on the way to recovery from this awful disease and times have been very hard for her and my family. Breast cancer is now the most common cancer in the UK, more than 45,500 women were diagnosed with breast cancer in 2006, and although it is not as common, it also effects around 300 men a year. Breast cancer has not only effected people in my family, I have friends of mine who's members of their family have had to deal with the devastating effects of the disease, and some have not been so fortunate as I. I am running in the Grim Challenge along with others to do all that is possible to try and beat it, your support is crucial for this to work, any donations will help and your money will be going to "Against Breast Cancer" which funds unique research to increase survival after diagnosis and they aim eventually to discover a vaccine, please help!
