The Scientific Exploration Society are a small local charity (based in Motcombe in Dorset) who send expeditions to all corners of the world to some of the most remote indigenous communities. There they proved medical aid, educational supplies, build schools and health clinics; educate in healthcare, farming techniques and enviromental preservation; set up clean, fresh drinking water supplies and build sustainable electricity generators.

None of the money you donate will go to funding the travel of members of SES, EVERY PENNY goes only to provide the supplies and equipment for the indigenous communities they travel to.

The marathon will be twice as far as I have ever yet run so I promise it will hurt! I have set myself a target of finishing in under 4 hours, if I fail to achieve this, I promise to do another one!
