Story

Now then people! I really need your help. 2 years ago I set myself a challenge of running a half marathon in memory of my Dad. I did it because I was a rubbish runner, I wanted to lose weight, and I wanted something to motivate me to do it. Now when I run, my Dad runs with me. Two years on and I'm still running, not faster, but certainly further and this time I stupidly replied to a work email inviting me to run for the UK Youth Charity. I was sat eating a bacon butty at the time, and thought, easy....why not.....its 6 months away so I can easily train for that.......

So, here I am, 10 weeks to go until the big day, only up to 13 miles running in training, and complaining bitterly about the cold snap we are all experiencing! On the flip side, I get to wear tights when I run.......

But I now need to dig in, and become a man.....with a little nudge along the way from kind people like you taking the time to read this. UK Youth is a great charity, and supports over 750,000 young people every year to realise their potential, raise their expectations, and have their achievements recognised.

Dig deep, keep me running, and finally, a massive thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
