My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I'm doing the 10K Great Scottish Run on Sept 2nd, raising money for CRY (cardiac risk in the Young).
The money raised from this page will be paid into the Stephen Gately memorial fund we are in the process of setting up with CRY.
This charity is very close to my heart after losing my much loved brother Stephen in 2009 to a undiagnosed heart condition.
Every week in the UK at least 12 young people die suddenly from undiagnosed heart conditions and every loss is a heartbreak.

Cardiac Risk in the Young

Each week at least twelve young people in the UK die suddenly as a result of undiagnosed heart conditions. At Cardiac Risk In the Young we aim to save young lives & to help those affected by the sudden cardiac death. We do this by providing support, information & screening those affected.
