As a small
independent organisation, Tourism Concern has been hit hard by the economic
downturn. We are now so short of core funding that our future is in serious
doubt.
We need to raise £40,000
in order to continue.
Tourism Concern is
the only NGO in fighting exploitation
in the global tourism industry. Without us, there would be nobody in this
country to challenge the powerful grasp that tourism has over the lives and
environments of so many people – particularly the poor and the powerless. This
is confirmed again and again by the messages of thanks and appreciation that we
receive from our local partners and all over the world.
We have so much
exciting and important work planned for the next few months. This includes:
