Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

For those of you who haven't already seen it in the North Devon Journal or spoken to me - about 3 months ago I saw an advert asking for people to put themselves forward to try and become one of 12 people who would undertake a 16 week programme of a healthy eating and exercise regime to raise money for the North Devon Hospice.  I was lucky enough to be selected as one of the 'Weight Loss 12' and for the past 8 weeks I have been attending three half hourly interval training sessions at the Studio on the Strand in Barnstaple with Wayne Little and have been keeping a close eye on my daily calorie intake.

So far I have done really well - I have lost 10 lbs and cms from all over various parts of my body.  I would like to lose just over a stone to take me down to the 9 stone mark, but if I can get more off then all the better and alongside this I have never felt so fit and am getting more toned all of the time!

After Damion's (my bloke for those of you who haven't met him)  dad died last August I wanted to give something back to the Hospice as this is where he had spent his last few days and when I saw the advert I could think of no better way than to honour his memory.

The North Devon Journal are tracking our progress on a weekly basis and you can also check out the banner online at www.thisisnorthdevon.co.uk  Not particularly flattering photos but worth a giggle.

It is hoped that between the 12 of us we will make between £3000 - £5000 - we each dontate £20 a month and then have been asked to raise other sponsorship from friends and family members ..... this is where you all come in.  To date I have raised around £200, but I am loooking to try and increase it so thought I would set up a Just Giving page for those of you who I might not see on a regular basis to collar!  Thanks to everyone for their support so far and I will keep you up to date with my progress.
