Thanks for coming here! I am trying to raise as much money as possible to help the Jubilee Sailing Trust pay off the remaining mortgage on its magnificent tall sailing ship the Tenacious, the largest wooden tall sailing ship in the world built during the last century.
Along with its sister ship the Lord Nelson, it is uniquely designed to allow people with various physical disabilities to be fully involved in the challenges of sailing the ships. Both are operated by the Jubilee Sailing Trust (JST), an inspirational organisation that provides life-changing opportunities to sail.

The Tenacious celebrated its 10th birthday in August 2010. It was built in Southampton at a cost of £14million with the help of volunteers from all walks of life as well as skilled craftsmen. Most of the build cost was raised at the time by a huge appeal. Further funds are urgently needed to pay off the remaining mortgage overhang to relieve the JST of this burden once and for all and secure its future. The amount needed is just over £800,000.

I have signed up to the JST’s ‘800 club’, where each member pledges to raise £1000.
www.jst.org.uk/the-800-challenge.aspx
But my ideal target is £833K, so anywhere in between would be brilliant!

I am passionate about this charity. I have sailed with them and hope to do so again soon, and I have seen at first hand the miraculous effects the experience has on people. I want to help the JST to pay off this debt so that future fundraising can go to its good works rather than on interest payments.

I would really appreciate any help that YOU MY FRIENDS can give, HOWEVER SMALL (even the price of a pint or a skinny latte – it all adds up) over the coming year. You can Gift Aid any size donation and be anonymous too.
The odd quid here and there all adds up, like drops of water filling a barrel.

And why not sign up for a voyage yourself?
