On the 30th of April I will be hurling myself out of a tiny plane at 12,000 feet, plummeting toward Swansea at 120mph alongside my girlfriend Bethan and good friends Charlie and Myhrden. You're probably wondering why on earth would they do that? To raise money for the Ethan Perkins Trust, which strives to raise awareness of childhood brain tumours.
Cancer research for children is hugely underfunded with childhood glioma projects receiving less than 0.3% of cancer research's UK spend.
Basically, the minimum amount to raise is £310. The cost of the skydive is paid for out of the sponsorship money and the rest goes to the trust. So by raising £350, £170 pays for the skydive and the rest goes to the Ethan Perkins Trust.
But why settle for raising the minimum amount? I'm positive we can raise more than £350...It's a spur of the moment decision to undertake this but the gauntlet has been thrown.
Please muck in and help, you can rest assured that your donation will contribute to decreasing the odds of a child getting cancer.
