What can I say, I did it - the Bupa Great North Run!  The best part of the event was crossing the start line with Stephanie and Elaine - who both finished well before me.  A huge well done to them as they were first time Great North Runners.  

I have to confuse to not doing the necessary training and this was reflected in my time and my hip injury :(.  This was my third GRN and sadly my personal worst.  However, I did it and I crossed the finish line on my feet.  

As a result of taking part, I've committed to getting fit - there is no excuse. Not even work!!! ;) So watch this space...

It was great doing the run for Traidcraft and I'm sure to raise the funds to help them fight poverty through trade!
