Tynesight is the charitable fund dedicated to supporting Newcastle Eye Centre at the Royal Victoria Infirmary (RVI). Newcastle Eye Centre is one of the largest eye departments in the UK outside London and has built a national reputation for its pioneering research and development of eye services.

Charitable funding enables us to keep pace with continual developments in medical equipment and treatment and allows us to go the extra mile and achieve things more quickly than would otherwise have been possible with central government funding alone. 

All donations to Tynesight go directly to providing extra funding for the very latest equipment for our patients and to support local research and education right here in Newcastle. All donations, no matter how small, can make a big difference to help us save someone's sight.
