Story

Thanks for visiting our page! On Sunday 7th April 2013 members of the University of Lincoln ICT department will again strap on their running shoes to run the Lincoln 10K for St Barnabas Hospice.

Note that's not walk or jog. It's run. We've been hard at training over the last couple of months out in the snow, wind and rain (note: no sunshine yet), up and down hills and through mud. We're also suffering frozen hands, training relating injuries and dodgy running fashion to make sure that when April comes around we'll all give it our best shot to get the best time we can.

St Barnabas is Lincolnshire's leading independent hospice, committed to providing the highest standard of medical and nursing care for patients living with a life threatening illness. Their care is free to all and relies on voluntary donations to ensure they can continue providing all their services.

Please dig deep and donate now.
