Thanks to all your support, I'm so proud to announce that together this year we have raised £3,650 so combined with 2011's £1,175 and 2010's £805 the overall total now stands at £5,630...ready to keep going?

My next epic challenge is explained on the new page and this will encompass my summer Race For Life runs - 7 in total this year AND the Relay For Life 24 hr event in there too AND how can I not mention the huge honour of carrying the Olympic Torch on 7th July so there's plenty more to celebrate yet!

I'll keep running so please keep raising - lets continue to 'make the difference' together!  THANKYOU SO MUCH xxx

P.S - in case you're wondering, YES I have put my name in the VLM2013 ballot and plan to end my new challenge on the finish line on 21st April 2013... 

Virgin London Marathon 2012

I am so proud to tell you that CRUK have picked me to be part of their team to run in the VLM2012 with a Golden Bond place.

Those of you who know me will know some, if not all, of my reasons for wanting to run in the VLM2012 and many of you have been there to support me, not only in my runs but also in helping me to secure my Golden Bond place with CRUK - from the bottom of my heart I want to thank you for getting me this far and invite you to come with me on this amazing journey towards my challenge of a lifetime.

On 22nd April 2012 I will be running 26 miles 385 yards - for each and every one of those 26 miles I have someone to run for - family, friends, collegues and clients, there is a mile for each one touched by cancer.  For the last 385 yards, the reason is tri-fold:

..for the challenge, for the cause, for the cure...

There are many much smaller challenges between now and then - there may well be blood, undoubtedly sweat and guarenteed tears but I give them all freely for the chance to make every one of those 26 people proud and I know they will be with me every step of the way.

Join me in being part of 'making a difference' for Cancer Research UK's life-saving work.
