I am going to be volunteering in Bangladesh in September for 3 months with Voluntary Service Overseas.

I would be very grateful if you could help me to raise funds for VSO by donating any thing at all (before the 27th August 2012).

While in Bangladesh I will be placed in a community helping on projects such as setting up farming and food production initiatives like co-operatives, improving water access like building latrines, teaching basic healthcare in primary schools and talking to young Bangladeshi's about ways they can continue to develop their own area.

Some of the projects me and the other volunteers will decide on/ create once we are there and we assess what we can contribute to the community we are placed in... but I will keep you updated.

VSO choose not to send aid to countries in extreme poverty but send professionals and people with enthusiam who share, learn and help locals grow their communities in a positive direction.

Anything at all you can spare will be really appreciated.
