Once upon a time I though it might be a good idea to run a marathon... (now I'm not so sure). Both my body and mind are going to go through hell I think, so please make it worth my while. This is my first ever (and likely onl ever) marathon. I'm running for two charities: CCHF and LOROS.

Children's Country Holiday Fund is a charity where Al and I have been volunteering this year - it provides short holidays for children who are neglected, disadvantaged and generally exposed to all sorts of things that kids shouldn't be exposed to. It's been fantastic to be part of providing kids with a fun break and their day to day trauma, and as it's the charities 125th year, I thought it'd bee a worthy cause.
