What a totally amazing day… the sun was out, the atmosphere was fantastic. It took me 25 mins for me get over the start line amongst the 50,000 or so other runners, then I was off… didn’t stop running all the way. It was very hilly – the crowds dragged me up the hills and the downhill’s allowed me to catch up some time. I made use of every ‘run through shower’ to cool off and seem to have got a tan top up thrown in from the great weather! Didn’t catch up with James Cracknel or Gordon Ramsey but I think they had a head start! Celebs hey…
I finished in my target time of 2hrs 20min which for me is a massive achievement. Thank you to all who supported me with my fundraising – I’m not far off £1000 which I’m so delighted with… all my aches and pains today are well worth it! www.justgiving.com/Victoria-Branch
