I am doing the GRIM challenge in December which is basically running/wading/crawling my way through an 8 mile off road circuit - they use it to test military tanks so it'll be nice and churned up! Added on to the fact that I hate long distance running, or actually any kind of running really, I figured that I'd need something to keep me motivated half way through and so have decided to support a really worthwhile cause - Victim Support. Victim Support is the independent charity for victims and witnesses of crime right across England and Wales. They support people just after they have been a victim of crime and also support witnesses through their evidence-giving which can be a really daunting experience. You'd imagine this would be something the Government would provide, but as they don't, that is where Victim Support steps in.
I know it's tough out there money wise, so if you're not able to give any material support, then your moral support will also be greatly appreciated :)
