Story
Do you have IH or do you have a family member with IH?
Do you wish you knew how to handle situations where people just don't get it?
Do you want to learn all the tricks that have helped us for the past 16 years of living with IH and brain injury? If you answered 'Yes' then you need to read 'Living with IH - Advice for carers.'
Do you have children who are struggling to cope with the complexity of it all? Would you like to learn all the games we played to make it easier when our kids were really young and needed to be quiet?
Would you like to have a cute little story to explain what living with IH is like, written for my friend's young child who was struggling to understand what IH was.
I've donated both of these E-books to the IHRF so that everyone can access them for a donation to the fundraiser - whatever you can afford. 100% of the proceeds are going to the IHRF. Every pound / dollar helps our IH community. Once you've donated you'll be sent to a 'Thank you' page where you'll find a link to get your copy of the E books.
Thank you so much for your donation.
Best wishes
Victoria.
*If for any reason you don't get the link after donating, please contact me on Facebook or at caitlinswish@gmail.com and I'll email you the links.*
The Intracranial Hypertension Research Foundation.
The Foundation has a 3-fold mission: --To catalyze and to directly fund new research that will lead to improved understanding of intracranial hypertension (IH), and to more effective therapies for those who have this disorder; --To educate the medical community and the general public with the facts about IH and to raise public awareness of the impact of this condition on the lives of those who develop it; and --To assist the IH community, including patients, their families, and their care teams, in better serving the medical needs of persons with IH. We serve all persons with IH, a chronic disorder defined as abnormally high cerebrospinal fluid pressure. The disorder can be triggered by a host of insults to the brain, including chemical, physical, and biological triggers, and often leads to loss of vision (blindness), significant neurological difficulties, and excruciating headaches. Those with IH are frequently disabled.
