Ok guys, home from Turkey and completed the jump! Was in for a bit of a surprise when i discovered the jump was not 1800 feet but infact... 7000 feet!! but i done it all the same! I was absolutely terrified but when I got to the top and remembered why i was putting myself through this it was all worth it (hiding the fact i had to be pushed over the edge!) I really feel a sense of achievement in doing this but it meant more to me than just raising money - i had to find a way to let go of my past and start again, and to me, this was a new beginning. I am also very pleased about how much awareness and publicity has came from doing the jump and hope i can give some poorly children the inspiration they need to pull through. Again, a massive thank you to everyone who has made this possible by supporting me and donating to my cause, there are no words to describe what it means to me! The photos from the jump are now on so please have a look & i am currently trying to figure out how to work out the video =) With love, Vicky x

As many of you will already know - when I was 9 years old I was diagnosed with T Cell Lymphoma, a very rare form of cancer. I pratically lived in the Sick Kid's Hospital in Edinburgh for nearly two years. As you can imagine, this was a massive struggle and a tough time for everyone but the support and treatment me and my family received from the Oncology Department was absolutely fantastic.
Although I have been given the all clear, I still struggle every day and take a lot of medication for the chronic pain I suffer as a result from the many operations I had to have. However, now I feel I am able to do something for other children and their families in a similar situation. The way I battled with cancer was like climbing up a large mountain, and now I feel its time to jump off of it and set myself free - literally! Having recently celebrated my 18th birthday, I have plucked up the courage to do a 1600 foot paraglide off of the Babadag mountains when I go back to Turkey at the end of the month, and would like to raise money for Ward 2 at the Sick Kids - the Childrens Oncology Ward. Any support you could give me would be fantastic and very much appreciated.
Thanks everyone, Vicky x
