My story
Voces de Cuba, supported by the Music Fund for Cuba, is a project to bring the exquisite Camerata Vocal de Música Áurea from Santiago, Cuba to visit the UK in the summer of 2012. These 21 inspiring choral musicians will perform and run workshops for community and classical choirs and will work with schools and community organisations in Sheffield, Nottingham, Leeds, York, Edinburgh, Bury and London.
You can donate on this site or by sending a text to 70070 saying DYQJ86 £5 or other amount. Your donations will help toward airfares and travel costs - our partner choirs and ourselves will be providing accomodation. Please visit the website below where you will find more information, what's going on in your area and more You Tube links to hear this gorgeous choir. We were first astounded by them when Sheffield Socialist Choir participated in the International Choral festival in Santiago in 2003 and again in 2009.
