The WASLI conference happens every four years; this year it is in Durban, South Africa 14-16 July. WASLI is seeking funding to enable interpreters from developing countries to get to this conference. We have had so many people apply for sponsorship that we are embarrassed in having to turn them away.
This is one last push to raise funds to get at least one more person there. If we exceed the target, we can supplement other fundraising campaigns for the same purpose. See the photos for just a few of the applicants.
£10 given by 150 donors and we are halfway there. €10 given by another 150 donors and we are ll the way there. So please dig deep and donate now. We have about three weeks to make this happen!

In many countries, sign language interpreting is still developing as a profession. RAD is happy to be supporting WASLI in its effort to help interpreters from all over the world to build their skills and knowledge, leading to improvements in local interpreting and providing a better service to Deaf people everywhere.
Your donation is made to the RAD but all funds raised by this campaign will be transferred to WASLI. WASLI thanks the RAD for providing this facility.
