From a selfish point of view, I'm doing this as a challenge to myself. I am far too lazy to train for a marathon, I find running dull. So my best mate Darren Allwright suggested a bike ride, something, which really excited me. I enjoy riding my bike and have been enjoying the training, apart from Bramshill Road inbetween Eversley & Heckfield, that thing needs re-surfacing. I enjoy riding even more alongside my mates, something which I will get to do in August, with new surroundings & scenery. I'm riding for cancer research to do my bit to assist in defeating it. Imagine the expression of pain which will be written across my face after about day 3 when my backside will be red roar and thighs shredded to pieces. Surely that's worth a fiver.
