Walk with the stars is the biggest fundraiser for the Hospice of St Francis. 

800 inspirational women are walking for 800 reasons, to raise money to help families to come to terms and live with terminal illness. 

The 12 mile walk starts at midnight on Saturday 7 July 2007, from Hemel Hempstead to Berkhamsted and back.

The money raised will go towards opening further beds, expanding day and home care, family support and training, to provide the best care possible for everyone who needs it.

The Hospice has climbed the highest mountain, building a purpose built facility which opened to patients in January 2007.  This could never have been achieved without the support of the local community.
