My story
West Bromwich Albion and Wolverhampton Wanderers fans are coming together to raise much needed funds for Acorns Children’s Hospice. Both sets of fans are putting rivalry aside for a few hours in order to hold a sponsored walk to Molineux on the day of the next Black Country Derby – February 12th 2012.
Acorns Childrens Hospices provide vital care for children and families of children with life limiting or life threatening conditions.
Walkers can choose to walk either from the Hawthorns to Molineux or, for Wolverhampton based walkers, from Molineux to a midway point to join up with ‘the other lot’ and then return to Wolverhampton in time for the match (the walk starts at 9am).
Please email walkingforacorns@gmail.com if you would like to register as a walker.
