Nightrider London 2014 · 7 June 2014 to 8 June 2014 ·

St Elizabeth Hospice improves life for people with a progressive illness. Our work centres around individual needs, with specialist support, wherever required, at home, in the community or at the hospice. Each year the hospice needs to generate £12.9m, of this 70% comes from the local community.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  Nightrider is a 100km ride taking in the major sights of our capital city, overnight, testing not just fitness but endurance and stamina.

I was lucky enough to take part in Nightrider 2011 in memory of my Grandfather, Tony Howell, who spent his last weeks at St Elizabeth Hospice.  This year we lost my Grandmother, Molly Howell, who, after spending 13 long years apart from her soul mate, also lost her battle with Cancer and was extremely well looked after by the fantastic staff at St Elizabeth's.  Nightrider 2014 will be my second opportunity to raise money for such a great cause and I appreciate any donations, large or small, that will go a long way to help this great charity.

Thank you for reading, the training starts soon and I look forward to seeing the finish line sometime on 8th June !
