I am hoping to raise lots of money for Lifeblood: The Thrombosis Charity.  This is a small charity promoting awareness and researching around blood clots and DVT's, we only found out about this charity recently as my younger sister has recently suffered from Multiple Bi-Lateral Pulmonary Embolisms (clots on both lungs), with no warning signs.

I am participating in a series of walking challenges this year; starting with a 15 mile walk with "Charnwood Marathon" on Sat 22 March. Two walks in May; 16 miles Waendel walk and 26 miles Farthingstone Footfest.  The longest one in June "Grand Union Challenge" 31 miles/50K, then at the moment the last in Sept; 26 miles in Derby "Hills and Dales".
