On 16 October 2010, Team Warren are supporting the charity Women for Women by participating in the event ‘Cycle China’, a five-day 450kms ride through the countryside of the Beijing region.  We’re dusting off the bikes and training is getting underway! We’ve committed to raising a minimum of £3,300 each and are contributing to our own travel and accommodation costs.

 

We survived and enjoyed ‘Cycle Cuba’ in 2008 a well as raising nearly £20,000 so please do help us support this pioneering charity again. With nearly 250 babies dying every week in the UK from complications during pregnancy, the work of the Institute of Obstetrics & Gynaecology Trust continues to be essential. Women for Women raises funds, awareness and provides training for research into the causes and treatments of a range of devastating conditions that affect women and their babies.

 

Women for Women have a simple plan to help save mothers’ and babies’ lives.  The arrival of a new baby should be a special and fulfilling moment. Yet countless families live in the shadow of blighted pregnancy, coming to terms with the loss of a baby, or learning to cope with a child who is seriously ill or with disabilities. All too often, their misery is further compounded by science offering no answer or explanation for their plight. With your help and continued support we can find solutions to alleviate and prevent families from suffering unnecessarily, allowing them to look forward to having healthy, happy children.
