Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The Welsh Centre for Cleft Lip and Palate will ‘Step up for CLAPA’ and have set ourselves a challenge, as a Team, to walk the equivalent distance of the Welsh Coastal Paths of Wales. The Welsh Coastal Path is the largest continuous coastal path in the world. The distance is 870 miles, and for each mile we should walk 2,000 steps, which means 1,740,000 steps during Cleft Lip & Palate awareness week, 7th May – 15th May 2022!

We invite all our colleagues and families to take part and send in your step count, miles and photos by tagging us @CleftTeamWales. We will post pictures on our Twitter page so that you can see where we have been walking!

As a Cleft Team, we are aware of the support that CLAPA provides to families of those born with a cleft lip and/or palate.  CLAPA urgently needs our help to keep their vital services going, and as a small charity, every pound counts.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they will never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they will send your money directly to the charity, so it is the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you for your support!
